Goa: Kingdom Of The Exotic

Goa once boasted a city larger than Rome or London - Old Goa. Today it's size is significantly reduced, but the remnants of its past glory remain. The Portuguese arrived on this west coast of India in 1510 and didn't return it until 1961.

Yuko and I spent New Years in Goa and enjoyed the fireworks and parties on Anjuna beach.

Cows make themselves at home throughout India, but in Goa they've got the luxury of beautiful white sandy beaches to bask in and they take full advantage. I made some friends while roaming the beaches....
